When I told my friend Susie that I was going to create a turmeric face mask for aging skin, her immediate question was, “Aren’t you afraid that you will turn your skin yellow?”
I can totally understand this question. After all, it’s true that most turmeric powders will leave your finders sunshine orange for more than a day. Fortunately, I have found a secret ingredient that should solve this problem. More on this in a second!
A quick warning. Any time you put anything new on your face, especially where spices or essential oils are concerned, always test the mixture on your arm first. Leave it for at least 20-30 minutes to make sure that you don’t see an allergic reaction. Also, never put these substances too near your eyes.
Have you ever tried a turmeric face mask? What other ingredients do you use in your own face masks? Are there any that you would like me to record a video on?
