Xtend-Life Skin Care Review: What Makes These Products Effective?

If I were to comment on a single aspect as to what makes Xtend-Life skin care products effective, it would have to be their R & D, or research and development.  Not that I am a scientist or such but in my years of research of cosmetic companies, there is a big difference between farming out the work and doing it yourself.  Why? It’s about control. Control of manufacturing and control of quality.

Using the analogy of making bread, maybe I can explain better.  If you purchase from the store a pre-packaged quick mix of flour, salt, and yeast and add water (and likely a feast of added chemicals), let it rise then bake, the result will look like bread, smell like bread and taste (hopefully) something like bread.

But if you go through the laborious (and fun) process of adding water and salt to yeast, letting it rise, punch and knead and letting it rise yet again you have better control of how well that loaf of bread will look, smell and taste. For those who have never baked bread, I promise you the home made version tastes a whole lot better, without the chemicals, than the fast-bake method.

Does that analogy work?  Maybe you need to be bread baker.

Still, in R&D with cosmetics, the same applies. If a company such as  Xtend-Life works at developing their own skin care products based on the research they perform, then the end product has the potential to be far superior to a company who relies on a separate entity to create their products for them.

R&D is very expensive. It costs a great deal of funds, equipment, knowledge and experience to maintain such control. And things are constantly changing.  Especially with a multi-billion dollar industry such as skin care products.

Skin Rejuvenation

Those companies who stay on the cutting edge with skin rejuvenation with their own R&D are the ones more likely to produce quality, effective products. And get them to consumers much sooner, often years before other companies, based on their own research and development.

The advancement of cell rejuvenation technology is a hot topic in the cosmetic industry.  Xtend-Life’s R&D department continues to make their own advancements producing effective anti aging skin care products. And because  Xtend-Life manufactures their skin care products within their own facility, quality control is maintained from research, to development to production. Absolute control of how, what, where and why.

Safe Skin Care

In addition, the ingredients incorporated in Xtend Life are designed to produce safe skin care products; safe for short and long term use.  In fact, the company website states:

We use more than 40 active ingredients in our products. They are all safe enough to ingest, as natural as possible, and proven in clinical trials to be effective.

Not that I am recommending we eat Xtend-Life skin care products such as Restorative Night Cream or Eye Contour Serum. But it does feel good to know that harmful or questionable ingredients  are not part and parcel of the Xtend-Life anti aging skincare product line.
