My First 30 Days with Xtend-Life Omega 3 Fish Oil

xtend life omega 3 fish oil supplements

While I have previously reported on the benefits of Omega 3 Fish Oil, including the purity of Xtend-Life Omega 3 Fish Oil, it was only 30 days ago that I received my first order of xtend-life’s fish oil.

The results surprised me.

During this first 30 day trial, I was in the throes of packing and moving, one of the top ten stressors of life. And although I take pride in being an organized mover, it’s all the other little things totally out of my control that made the ordeal a bit stressful.

But I found myself quite calm amidst it all. I was clear minded, dealt with the issues at hand without flipping out. In fact, it was one of my easiest big moves ever encountered.

Now, of course, there’s no way to mark for certain that the xtend life Omega 3 fish oil was responsible for this sense of calm but that was the first thing I noticed.

The second noticeable aspect was apparent in the third week of use: my eyes felt better. I spend a great deal of time in front of a computer and am a voracious reader. With previous severe eye strain, redness and eyeball pain, all of these symptoms have been nil over the past week.

The third benefit I’ve noticed is that of my hair. It has more of a sheen, less gray with my natural color, dark brown, looking more so than the washed out non-color of the past several years.  There were no changes to the hair products I use so I can only surmise this added bene is due to the  xtend-life Omega-3 fish oil.

Previously, I had taken fish oil capsules from the local natural health food store. I had taken them religiously (2x per day) over a three months time frame. In comparison with xtend-life’s brand, there were zero benefits that I could attribute to the fish oil specifically, and decided to stop purchasing and injesting.

It was after reviewing, researching and reading about how the xtend-life Omega Omega 3 Fish Oil capsules are manufactured and how the entire tracking of a specific fish caught from sea to ship to processing, that I decided to give this healthy supplement another try.

As I continue using the xtend-life omega 3 fish oil, I will make note of any additional health benefits incurred.  If, however, all that I experience are as outlined above, I’m hooked on this health product…line and sinker.

    Hi Amelia,

And concerned you should be; I resisted taking fish oil supplements for years for that very reason. You may/may not be old enough to recall when Cod Liver Oil was regularly prescribed!

Let me clarify for you why I don’t have any concern with the Xtend Life Fish Oil products: they do not use any organs of a fish to extract their fish oil. Instead, theirs is derived from the flesh and skeleton from a particular fish, Hoki, found in one of the world’s most pristine ocean waters of New Zealand.

And because the collection of the Hoki fish used by Xtendlife is documented from the water’s depths to the processing to their manufacturing facility, there is zero chance of anything but the highest quality of fish oil being produced from this company.

Purchasing inferior or cheap fish oil may certainly include traces of mercury and PcBs; contacting a company and inquiring about the where, what, how of their processing can help make for a wiser consumer. Here’s a link if you wish to read more of the Xtend Life Fish Oil

Thanks for stopping by and voicing your concerns, Amelia.

  3. I am just concerned about the main source of Omega 3 which is the liver of fish. as you can see, fishes can accumulate mercury and pcb. :.:
