My anti aging beauty has a fresh new look…

Well, we’ve done it! Given this site a fresh new look that fits well with the topic of anti aging beauty and health. Along with this fresh look, I have a renewed enthusiasm and re-focus on providing more information and reviews for products related to anti aging. And although I am a HUGE fan of the Xtend Life skin care and supplements products there are, of course, other products worthy of attention. I thought maybe some of you would find it interesting to learn about little known local (Costa Rica) companies…

Introducing Eco-Responsible Costa Rica Skin Care Company

Here in Costa Rica I’ve found a couple of really great skin care product lines made with 100% natural ingredients derived from native plants. One, SOA Organics, dba Coco Rico, offers a rich, soothing body lotion that I absolutely love. Its label reads, “Creme de Aloe Vera” translated to English means Aloe Vera Cream. They offer four scents: Citrus, Coconut, Peppermint, Rose. (My personal favorite is Rose). The products are made with local, eco-harvested and biodegradable ingredients, including 80% aloe vera, coconut oil, glycerin and mackaderm (from the macadamia tree).

It’s the feel of the lotion on my skin, rich with immediate absorption, and the relief of dryness on my legs and arms that make it now a product I cannot be without. (especially important when visiting dryer climes or traveling on airplanes!)

Although ordering directly from the site is not yet available, if you contact them, they will process orders for Costa Rica payment and shipping. Or, the next time you visit Costa Rica, you can call them and ask which retail outlets carry their products!
