Naturally Divine!

One of my favorite things about Costa Rica is the quality of natural products available, especially aromatherapy and spa products, derived from local plants and minimally processed.  Point in case: Bio Bella Organics.

It was my great privilege to meet the owner of this company at a mutual friend’s home a couple of years ago; she shared with me her incredible story of how her business evolved and offered a ‘shot’ of her Energy Balancing aromatherapy synergy spray as we sat and talked.  It was  love at first spray.

As stated on Bio Bella Organics website:  Fashioned with selected organic essential oils, this blend vitalizes the energy body by stimulating the Chakra system. By nurturing our core being and strengthening our resistance, dedication and identity, this blend harmonizes and inspires balance in body, mind and spirit. BIO BELLA combines the ancient wisdom of European tradition with the natural healing force of herbs, infused with the high spiritual energy of Latin American soil.

Almost immediately, a sense of well-being washed over me and I was enthusiastic to learn more about her products.  Some time later, at a ‘Women in Business’ trade show held in San Jose, Costa Rica, I arrived at the Bio Bella booth where this same delightful lady explained that each product is handmade in small batches to ensure freshness and effectiveness, bestowing upon me a travel-size gift bag containing a variety of her Spa products.

Favorites, those which I now refuse to run out of, include an exfoliant labeled Cahuita Beach made with sand from the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and boy it  stimulates, exfoliates and moisturizers hand, feet and face  without dryness.  Really…you can almost smell the ocean!

Another favorite is Mama’s Secrete.  This was Bio Bella’s flagship product that started the business.  An herbal healing balm, this has become indispensable, especially for tropical living. It takes itches out of bug bites, immediately soothes and heals any type of skin abrasions and is  made with olive oil, organic calendula & comfrey and vitamin E. Available in a larger size, the lipstick tub is perfect for carrying with at all times.

Two other  “must have” Bio Bella products include Love My Feet and Love My Lips…two effective moisturizers that make feet and lips oh-so very happy.

For those of you living in Costa Rica, Bio Bella product line is available at various retail outlets such as Automercado, as well as boutique hotels, Costa Rica spas and others.  Bio Bella couples their manufacturing facility with a sweet little retail store in San Pablo de Heredia, at the Plaza Los Olivos approximately 100 mtrs west of  Mabe.
