Getting a Facial

My anti aging beauty blog is the result of having taken a terrific online blogging course on how to blog well. Part of that process is to determine what one has a passion for and what people are interested in reading.

As a middle aged woman who still feels twenty I take care as to what products I consume or apply; in fact for years I’ve researched the BIG cosmetic companies and what ingredients they use in their products.  Some of this information is quite alarming, based on scientific research, and the sad part is that many of these companies care more about their bottom line (as in profits) than they do about the well-being or safety of their customers.

The goal with this blog is to share with others the information I’ve garnered over the years related not just with cosmetic companies but those anti aging products related to overall good health.

Anti aging beauty is a great buzz phrase but the truth is there are  few conscientious companies producing truly effective products for aging skin and general health that are safe for the human body and effective.

I have no intention to bad mouth or berate any particular company; I do intend on sharing what I’ve learned about ingredients and the marketing of products and also what the FDA does and doesn’t do to protect consumers.

You will also learn about interesting grassroots organizations who are working diligently at getting information out to the general consumers about certain ingredients. I’ll be writing and introducing you to their work and how you can become a more prudent consumer when it comes to anti aging beauty and health products.
